Our Interlibrary Loan Service is available to all BCPL patrons. It allows patrons to borrow books not present in our collection from other libraries.  We will borrow up to 12 books or periodical titles per fiscal year providing that the item cannot be accessed through BCPL, Project Guttenberg, Find It VA, netLibrary, or other free online sources.

To make an interlibrary loan request, simply complete this form and email, mail or return it in person to the Buchanan County Public Library. You may also make a request in person at the library.

Buchanan county Public Library processes all interlibrary loan requests on Tuesdays.  If you have a deadline on an item submit your request as soon as possible for the best chance to receive your item on time.
