Mission Statement
Our goal is to provide books, audio books and music CD’s for residents of Buchanan County who are homebound and for those who live outside the Grundy area. Anyone who has a mailbox that is not a Grundy Post Office box can receive books by calling the Buchanan County Public Library or by filling out the sign-up form online. If you have a Grundy Post Office box and are not homebound, but would like to receive titles only available through the Mailbox Library, you may receive those titles by coming to the Buchanan County Public Library and picking them up in person. There is no charge for using this service. The library pays all postage.

Circulation Policy
This is a regular library service subject to library policies. Overdues are $.05 per day per item. Patrons with damaged or lost items will be charged either a repair or replacement fee. Service will be discontinued if items are not returned in the same container in which the patron received them. There will be a $.25 service charge per item for any items returned in another patron's container or in a patron's self-purchased container. All items received in one order must be returned before any items from a new order will be sent to a patron.
