The Buchanan County Public Library TBA—Teen Board of Advisors is a group of 13 to 18 year old students who meet at the library the last Thursday of each month between September and May at 5:30 pm and assist library staff in designing and implementing library programs and services for teen patrons. Programs usually take place on the same Thursday night at 6 pm and are open to all 6^th through 12^th grade students.

Past programs have included video game tournaments; the 2009 Teen Summer Reading Program “Express Yourself”; and the award winning Halloween Program Library Mystery Night in which teens participate in a live action mystery using library resources to solve a crime.

Each year members have a special By Member Only Invitation Event and a Pizza Party Event. Students learn and practice valuable skills such as project planning while enjoying activities their friends may attend.
