Pumpkin Carving Party saturday October the tenth, 2026 from 1PM to 3PM. Bring your own pumpkin and the library will provide the tools and stencils. Cookies and drinks will be provided.

The Appalachian Storyteller, Wednesday, October the 28th 2026 at 2PM. Dr. JD Phillips is the writer and voice of the award winning The Appalachian Storyteller channel on YouTube. The channel recently featured The Mysterious Tragedy of the Justus Family, which is one of our county’s most brutal and infamous murder cases. Books will be for sale on the day of the event and Dr. Phillips will be available to sign them.
